Doug Azary: Reproduction of a
		 1966-67 Brass Rod F1/Indy Chassis

Doug Azary sends pictures of the thinner sister of his chassis
	in Readers Gallery 15. Hmmm!

	Doug writes:
"Here is a new build of a vintage 1966-67 brass rod frame. It has a 4"
wheelbase and 1/8" axle tubes front and rear. The motor bracket is a vintage bracket
but I don't remember who made it (maybe Cobra?)."
"The chassis is all 1/16" brass rod
except for one square U-shaped 1/16" steel wire reinforcement in the motor bracket.
The 1/16" pin tube body mounts are located on the frame on both sides of the motor
and about 1/2 way between the motor and the front axle tube. The guide flag piece on the
drop arm is a steel one I robbed off of an old Int. 15 chassis. All joints are silver soldered."
"This frame is set up for F-1 and Indy bodies that were available from Lancer,
Dynamic and other makers in the mid to late 1960s. It will accept a vintage endbell drive
16D or today's Parma Deathstar with no modifications."
