Cobra/Phaze III Chassis Identification
These two ads show the difficulties collectors have in
correctly identifying chassis. The ad for Cobra
appeared in Car Model March 1968, and the promo for
Phaze III in Car Model July 1968. Between those dates,
Cobra's Lou Graziano and Roy Crawley split up, and Roy
started Phaze III. Phaze III bought the same
parts from Cobra's old suppliers, so these chassis are
difficult, if not impossible to distinguish.
